Dolan Hotels are looking for an experienced Pastry Chef to oversee the dessert station.
General Scope of Job:
We are looking for an individual that oversees the dessert department in the kitchen, who strives for consistent high quality and guests’ satisfaction. The Pastry Chef will also be part of implementing new items onto the menu and keeping on top of ingredients and stock needed for their food preparation.
Duties:
- Oversees the dessert station
- Ensures high quality food production
- Liaises with the Head Chef and Sous Chef to keep a productive work environment
- Orders new supplies for pastries and desserts
- Monitors stock
- Develops new recipes for the menu
Skills and Qualifications:
- Former Culinary Training
- Experience working in a four or five star establishment
- Developing new
- Attention to detail
- Prior knowledge of sanitisation, health and safety and food preparation
- Capable of working in a fast-paced environment
- Strong organisational skills
- A self-motivated team player
